Development of ELISA-diagnostics of African swine fever

Summary

Based on recombinant protein vp73 from African swine fever virus (ASFV) and specific monoclonal antibodies solid-phase enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was developed to measure both ASFV antigen and antibody. These assays demonstrated 100% sensitivity and specificity and may be useful technique for epidemiological surveys.
