Cheyletiellosis in dogs (Acari: Trombidiformes: Cheyletidae) contained in apartment conditions

Summary. The results of the acarological examination of scratches from the skin and hair of dogs kept in apartment conditions in the city of Moscow, carried out in order to establish a diagnosis of cheyletiellosis in dogs, are presented in the article. As a result, it was established that 8 examined dogs were diagnosed with cheyletiellosis caused by ticks of the species Cheyletiella jascuri. Thus, the extent of invasion was 100%. Clinically, the disease in animals was manifested by restlessness, itching, hyperemia, as well as the formation of papules, excoriations and parakeratosis.
