Summary. Clinical and laboratory analysis of mycoplasmal infection in dairy cows and calves in the period from 2019 to 2020 are presented in the article. The clinical manifestation of species-specific mycoplasmosis had been observed in dairy herds in animals of different age. In cows the infection developed into acute mastitis, in calves it caused inflammation of the respiratory tract and joints and clinical manifestation of otitis media. 116 biological samples from cows and calves from 13 dairy farms of the Ural region (Russia) were examined by PCR methods. As a result of PCR testing, the Mycoplasma bovis and Mycoplasma bovigenitalium genomes were identified in 17,2% of the samples. Mycoplasma bovis was isolated from the biomaterial of synovial fluid from calves, from nasopharyngeal swabs of calves, vaginal scrapings in cows and from parenchymal organs of aborted fetuses in 11,2% of cases. Genomes of Mycoplasma bovigenitalium were indicated in nasopharyngeal swabs of calves and in vaginal scrapings of dairy cows (1,0%). The simultaneous presence of the genetic material of several mycoplasmas (Mycoplasma bovis + Mycoplasma bovigenitalium) was detected in two samples (one nasopharyngeal swab of a calf and one vaginal scraping in a cow). In one of the samples (nasopharyngeal swab of a calf) the DNA of Mycoplasma bovigenitalium + Chlamydophila pecorum were obtained, which indicates a mixed infection. In earlier received samples, the genomes of Chlamydophila pecorum and Bovine virus diarrhea were identified, which indicates the active circulation of viral and bacterial pathogens within the territory of the Ural region.
