UDC 636.2.082 RESULTS OF INTRODUCTION OF SEXXED SEMEN IN DAIRY CATTLE BREEDING OF KUBAN Koshchaev A.G., Usenko V.V., Likhoman A.V., Litvinov R.D. Summary. Analysis of key indices in dairy cattle breeding of "Rodina" JSC of Kanevsky district since the beginning of the use of sexxed semen, as well as a comparative evaluation of the indices of the use of sexxed and unsexxed semen is made in the article. Authors argue that it is necessary to introduce the practice of the independent examination of sexxed semen to identify the level of actual receipt of heifers. Such facts when unscrupulous sellers (often – intermediaries) give sexxed semen with 75% yield for heifers after the product providing 90% yield of heifers and, consequently, more expensive (up to 2000 rub. for 1 dose) are to be mentioned in world practice. There is the obvious need to obtain reliable information about bulls producers, from which farm gets semen. It was established that the yield of 100 heifers successfully inseminated cows ranges of 46 heads, which is 11% higher than at the use of the simple semen with the value of 41 heads. This means that the use of sexxed semen allows to increase the number of heifers at 11%, get additional 11 heifers per 100 inseminated heifers. Authors found that at the majority of animals of the 2nd and older lactations there are health disorders that lead to "difficult" calving with the loss of calves, which led to the identification value of the output of calves per 100 cows. As a result of evaluating the efficiency of the implementation of the use of sexxed semen in farms authors found that the cost of one sexxed semen dose is higher than unsexxed in 4.2 times. Rate of calves per 100 cows using sexxed semen is in 1.5 times lower than the result of insemination by unsexxed semen of the same bulls. Proposed methods can improve the output rate of 11% heifers, which naturally increases the productive indices in dairy cattle breeding, and even the duration of the existing economic use (less than two lactations) contributes to obtaining additional profit.
