DUCKLINGS’ IMMUNOBIOCHEMICAL STATE CORRECTION

Summary. Hermivit has a number of unique properties, widely spread in different sectors of livestock. The purpose of our work was to study the influence of hermivit on immunobiochemical status of ducklings. Three groups of daily ducklings of "Blagovarsky" cross were formed for the experiments. Birds of the control group received the overhead diet. Ducklings of the first experimental group additionally were fed with hermivit in the amount of 4% by weight of the feed from daily age to 4 weeks. To the second experimental group preparation was used in the diet at the same doses over the whole period of fattening (8 weeks). Blood samples for analysis were taken from ducklingss in the daily age, at 4 and 8 weeks of age. By the end of the growingperiod lysocyme and bactericidal activity of blood serum of ducklings of the first experimental group was more than in controls on 18,28 % (p<0,01). By the end of studies number of ß-lysine in the blood samples of ducklings, which were fed with hermivit was higher than in controls on a 4,86-5,06 % (p<0,05-0,01). Under the influence of hermivit there was an increase of phagocytic activity of pseudoeosinophils and phagocytic index, the increase of total protein in blood serum glucose in the blood serum of ducklings increased by 4,1-8,61% (p<0,05-0,01). In addition, normalization of such biochemical parameters as cholesterol, total bilirubin, urea was established. Hermivit had a positive influence on the content of mineral substances in the blood serum of ducklings. The presented results of the studies testify to the fact that hermivit in the studied doses has a positive influence on the functional condition of the immune system and metabolism in the organism of ducklings of "Blagovarsky" cross.
