Summary. Studies conclude that the feed additive Acibif based on probiotic bacteria and Baksin-KD on the basis of halobacteria fed in the suckling period, stimulated physiological processes of the organism in bull-calves in their period of rearing before slaughter. This contributed to a better performance of blood, intestines microbiocenosis and, as a consequence, an increase in the average live weight of calves at the age of 18 months prior to slaughter by 4.2 and 5.8%. Use of additives in feeding helped to improve meat productivity of experimental animals. On the basic parameters of flesh mass, characterizing the value of the carcass, bull-calves of experimental groups were superior to control, respectively, by 11.8 kg or 6,7% (P<0,05) and 18.9 kg, or 10,7% (P<0,05). Calculation of the economic efficiency for 150 days of growing of the calves showed that profitability increased in the second test group by 3.2% and in the third experimental group - by 5.8% from the index of 6.3% in the control group. Profitability rate was 8.0% in the control group, that is lower than the index in the second test group by 7.45% and by 11.2% compared to the third experimental group of animals for 205 days of growing of steers.
