Summary. Data on the species composition of the uterine and vaginal microflora of dogs with clinical signs of endometritis, as well as the sensitivity of this microflora to various antibacterial substances are presented in the article. The studies were conducted based on the principle of comparative analysis of two groups of animals. Healthy animals (10 heads) were selected for the control group, and 10 dogs with clinical signs of endometritis were also selected for the experimental group. Samples for the experiment were collected in the veterinary clinic of the North-Caucasian Zonal Research Veterinary Institute - branch of the Federal Rostov Agrarian Research Center. Bacteriological examination of exudate samples from the genital tract of animals was carried out in the laboratory of the creative team for the study of infectious pathology of animals of the North-Caucasian Zonal Research Veterinary Institute - branch of the Federal Rostov Agrarian Research Center. The study found that dogs diagnosed with endometritis have inhibition of microflora by bacteria of the genus Lactobacillus and Bacterium bifidum - 10Л2±0.03 CFU/ml. Among the microflora that provoke the development of the inflammatory process, the following were detected: hemolytic E. coli - 10 8±::2 CFU / ml, Candida albicans - 10л6±1.0 cfu / ml, St. aureus -1Ол8±о.о2 cfu / ml, Klebsiella - 10л7±0.5 cfu / ml. The sensitivity of the isolated cultures to antibacterial drugs was carried out by the disc diffusion method to 48 drugs.

Keywords: dogs, endometritis, microflora, bacteriological examination, antibacterial drugs, inflammation of the uterine mucosa, antibiotic resistance.
