The etiological factor is the complex physico-chemical effect of mechanical tissue damage that occurs after the introduction of prolonged medications, microchips and other implants. As a result post-injection sarcomas arise, which morphologically belong to very heterogeneous tumors, such as fibro-, rhabdomio-, leiomio-, chondrosarcomas, exoskeletal osteosarcomas. To make an accurate diagnosis, it is necessary to collect anamnesis, conduct a physical examination, perform blood tests, radiography in three projections of the chest or CT and ultrasound of the abdominal cavity, cytological and histological examination. Surgical treatment must be performed by excision of the neoplasm. After the tumor is removed the prognosis depends on the degree of malignancy. In order to prevent sarcoma, it is recommended to exclude subcutaneous injections in the withers area and use the recommendations of European veterinarians and inject subcutaneous injections in the iliac region, in the distal parts of the limbs or the tip of the tail.
