Respiratory diseases in calves cause huge economic losses to livestock of all developed countries. Most factorial diseases, developing on the background of adverse effects in animals of different predisposing factors that reduce the overall non-specific resistance of the organism to have an infectious nature. Exposure to microorganisms of different classes leads to a considerable increase of severity of respiratory diseases of young cattle. As a rule, opportunistic pathogens, upper respiratory comensals in various associations are isolated from affected calves at bronchopneumonia. Results of monitoring of respiratory diseases of large horned cattle with bacterial etiology are presented in the article. The structure of cattle diseases of infectious and non-contagious etiology in farms of Krasnodar region is also studied. The incidence of young cattle with diseases of the respiratory system was established. The main bacterial agents and their associations involved in the development of acute serous-catarrhal and catarrhal bronchopneumonia were determined. The results of bacteriological studies are presented by the authors. Keywords: large horned cattle, young animals, calves, respiratory diseases, serological tests, pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, nonspecific resistance of organism. References: 1.
