UDC 619:618.7-002 Koba I.S., Burmenskaya G.A., Kozlov Yu.V., Gorpinchenko E.A., Dubovikova M.S. Summary. In recent years even more often it is necessary to diagnose such disease as uterus' abscess. This pathology is an actual problem today and isn't lit in literature. The reasons of abscess of the uterus are various: an inept obstetric intervention at obstetric aid, introduction of an infection in patrimonial ways after medical procedures, injuries at labors, also the hematogenous way of penetration of the infection to a muscular layer of the uterus is possible. The clinical picture of a disease is shown by symptoms of the endometritis proceeding with temperature increase, frequent pulse and the worsening of general state. Animals eat forage badly. The uterus is considerably enlarged and morbid to the touch, especially in the place of formation of abscess. In the place of existence of abscess, as a rule, there is a diverticulum, that is the disturbance of contours of the uterus. At a palpation of limited abscess the solid and resilient capsule becomes perceptible. If the abscess is localized in caudal part of the uterus and is in a lateral or dorsal location, then it is possible to note fluctuation existence that is absent in cases with multiple abscesses. The sizes and form of abscesses can be various. Limited abscess is most often shown in the form of a ball of the sizes in the diameter from 4 cm up to 20 cm and more. It is visualized in the form of echo-positive spherical formation with non-uniform internal contents, irregularly reinforced capsule. Multiple abscesses meet in the form of ‘bunch' or a chain of formations. In the size they can be up to 4 cm in diameter, they mostly often have non-uniform structure.
