Summary. Epizootic situation on colibacteriosis of piglets in Krasnodar region over the last 23 years was studied. It was found that colibacteriosis of piglets is widely distributed in the farms of Krasnodar region. Annually, this infection is registered on average at 42 farms, where 4103 animals are diseased and 1258 die. Number of unfavorable points in 1998 and 1999 was 116 and 144 in which 7240 and 8299 animals were diseased, and 2084 and 2058 animals died, respectively. Characteristic feature of symptoms of colibacteriosis of piglets in Krasnodar region was the presence of periodic outbreaks, which from 1990 to 2013 was 6. Outbreaks in the region occurred every 2-5 years (on average 3,4 years). Average level of incidence of colibacteriosis of piglets for the period from 1990 to 2013 amounted to 218.2 per 100 thousand heads, mortality – 68.7 per 100 thousand heads (31.9%), focality – 122.7 head. per focus. Magnitude of these figures indicate not only the ever continuing tension of epizootic situation, but also the high intensity of epizootic process. Linear trend parameters characterizing intensity of epizootic process showed that the level of incidence, mortality and foci has a clear downward trend, and the mortality rate remains unchanged. Calculation of the correlative interrelation (r) between the level of immunization and the number of cases and the level of immunization and the number of dead animals showed that it is very low and amounts to 0.082 and 0.12, respectively, indicating that the low efficiency of specific prevention and absence of its influence on the development and intensity of epizootic process.
