UDC 619:615.9]:636. 087.7 STUDY OF TOXICOLOGICAL AND IRRITANT EFFECT OF PROBIOTIC FEED ADDITIVE TRILACTOSORB FOR QUAIL Koshchaev A. G., Migina E. I., Lysenko Y. A. Summary. This article presents the results of the toxicological evaluation of new probiotic feed additive Trilactosorb on the express method stilonihiyas and by determining parameters of acute toxicity in mice and rats, as well as the study of its skin-resorptive and irritating actions to the mucous membranes of the eyes and mouth of laboratory animals. The studies revealed that probiotic supplement shows no toxic effects on survival stilonihyas under the action of its water and acetone extracts. In this case the viability of ciliates was 97,8 and 94,7 %, which is within the requirements for small toxicity of plant origin. According to study results of acute toxicity probiotic feed additive Trilactosorb failed to determine half-lethal dose. Condition experimental mice and rats remained satisfactory with well appetite, animals were mobile and the response to external stimuli remained the same as before use of additives. Disorder in the functional activity of the digestive and urinary systems, as well as a manifestation of other toxic effects was absent. Results of skin-resorptive and irritating to the eye conjunctiva, and further action on the oral mucosa showed that the primary irritation index probiotic feed additive Trilactosorb was zero. General condition of albino rabbits, hamsters and laboratory research at all stages remained satisfactory, toxicological changes in the irritating additives have been identified.
