UDС619:636.598.085.16 BAKSIN-VET INFLUENCE ON DEVELOPMENT OF INTESTINAL MICROBIOCENOSIS AND INCIDENCE OF ACUTE INTESTINAL DISEASES IN NEWBORN CALVES Skorikov A.V., Basova N.Y., Pachina V.V., Staroselov M.A., Fedorov Yu.E. Summary. The objective of research was to establish the influence of prebiotic preparation Baksin-vet on the development of intestinal microbicenosis and on the incidence of acute intestinal diseases in newborn calves. The research was conducted on the base of dairy farm number 1 in Dinskoy district of Krasnodar region. Two groups of twelve newborn calves of aishire breed were formed for the experiments. Baksin-vet was given to the animals of the first group with milk on daily basis in dose 0,35 g for the first 15 days and in dose 0,4 g until one month age. Second group was used as control. The research results indicates that on 14-th day intestinal microbiocenosis of calves in control group includes more opportunistic pathogens and less symbiotic bacteria compared to first group. On the 30-th day of the experiment Candida isolated from calves in control group. On the contrary in the intestinal microbiocenosis of calves in experimental group there are no signs of Candida growth. It is proved that average daily weight gain of calves of the experimental group, which within 1 month were treated with Baksin-vet, were higher in comparison with the calves in control group. Keywords: Baksin-vet, microbiocenosis, newborn calves, opportunistic pathogens, acute intestinal diseases, prebiotics, symbiotic microorganisms, antibiotic treatment, antibiotic resistance, average daily weight gain.
