Summary. Currently, use of functional feed additives based on plant raw materials, products of microbiological synthesis which primarily include protein energy, vitamin, probiotic supplements, is actual in feeding of broiler chickens. Feed enzyme supplement Mycocel was obtained by solid-phase cultivation of Trichoderma lignorum 81-17 strain in a thin layer of a mixture of sunflower and wheat bran. It is a water-insoluble, non-toxic, dry powder.

Authors noted that from the 1st to the 4th week of life broiler chickens of experimental groups treated with enzyme supplements lagged behind a set of live weight from the representatives of the control group. This is due to adaptation period of symbiotic microflora of the gastrointestinal tract to the action of enzyme supplementation. On the 21th day of growing chickens of experimental groups gained weight significantly compared to the 14th day, which indicates the effecacy of enzyme supplements’ use.

In experiments on broiler chickens authors found that use of the feed additive Mycocel increased productivity (on 3,1-3,8%) and viability (up to 100%) of poultry and reduced feed consumption per 1 kg of body weight (12,3-14,2%). Authors proved that the additive use in complete feed has a positive impact on the digestibility of nutrients, as well as the assimilation of calcium and phosphorus. Coefficient of poultry output increased by 3,6-3,9%. At the same time output of edible parts of the carcass increased and quantity of internal fat decreased. Аdditive Mycocel increased the biological value of poultry meat. It was proved that the level of profitability increased by 44,1-68,7%.

Key words: trichoderma, feed additive, enzyme, poultry breeding, broiler chickens, productivity, viability, economic efficiency.
