Species composition of fish parasites in the Uglich reservoir

Abstract. The species composition and analysis of parasite infestation of pike, pikeperch, Volga pikeperch, perch, bream, roach, redeye, silver bream and tench in the Uglich Reservoir the research periods 2014-2015 and 2023-2024, are presented. 36 species and 3 unidentified forms have been identified in fish. A rich species composition was noted in the parasitofauna of bream (14 species), pikeperch (11 species) and perch (10 species). The dominant species in pike are the monogeneans Tetraonchus monenteron, pikeperch and tench Ergasilus sieboldi, Volga pikeperch Ichthyocotylurus variegatus, perch Apophallus muehlingi, and bream, silver bream, roach, and redeye Paracoenogonimus ovatus. The greatest equalization of the abundance of species is noted in the parasitofauna of redeye and pike.
