Poultry farming is one of the most high-tech branches of agriculture. This industry is an important supplier of food for the population, ensuring the food security of our country. The realization of the genetic potential of a highly productive poultry largely depends on adequate feeding. Today, it is almost impossible to imagine the production of compound feed without the use of feed additives, thanks to which it is possible to increase the biological value of the feed mixture and the availability of nutrients for the bird organism. Feed additives are a source of essential amino acids, macro- and microelements, and so on. Domestic and foreign scientists are constantly looking for new means to enrich poultry diets with essential nutrients. In the past few years, more and more scientific research is turning to the development of feed additives from plant materials. Such means have a number of advantages in comparison with synthetic ones. Research in this direction is very relevant, since plant-based products have a very wide spectrum of action. The fact is that nutrients of plant origin are rich in biologically active substances BAS). The latter have a beneficial effect on the metabolic processes of the bird’s body and increase its resistance. One of these feed products is the multifunctional feed additive (MFA). In addition to being a rich source of BAS. This feed additive has sorption properties, contains a large amount of micro and macro elements, vitamins. The use of such products is widely used in industrial poultry farming. However, such products are imported into our country in finished form and often, it is rather problematic to check their chemical composition. Keywords: Hisex-Brown, ration for cockerels, yellow biofon, multifunctional feed additive, live weight, average daily gain, feed consumption, slaughter yield, development of internal organs, economic efficiency.
