Summary. Escherichia coli is a conditionally pathogenic microorganism, but some strains can be pathogenic in nature, and their virulence can lead to significant losses in poultry farming. Pathogenic strains of Escherichia coli in poultry are commonly referred to as avian pathogenic strains of Escherichia coli (APEC). APEC is capable of causing a systemic disease - colibacteriosis. APEC is widespread in poultry farms, it depends on the immune health of poultry, the virulence of the Escherichia coli strain and other predisposing factors. The aim of the work was to study the spread of the causative agent of colibacteriosis and its pathogenic serotypes in the conditions of industrial poultry farming in Krasnodar region. The laboratory data materials on colibacteriosis for the article were provided by the Kropotkin regional veterinary laboratory for the period from 2008 to 2022. As a result, it was found that during the reporting period, colibacteriosis wad recorded in the laboratory on average in 41.76% of cases. The epizootic process, despite the downward trend, is characterized by steady-state and periodicity. Outbreaks in confirmed results of laboratory research on colibacillosis were in 2009, 2012, 2016 and 2019. When identifying the causative agent of colibacteriosis, various serotypes of pathogenic escherichia have been established. In total, 37 pathogenic serotypes from the fallen bird and 26 serotypes from dead embryos were detected during the entire observation period, of which O78, O15, O8, O18, O20 and O4 had epizootic significance. For 2020-2022, pathogenic escherichia belonging to the serogroups O78, O9, O15 and O55 predominate.
