Fauna of helminths of hunting animals in Tomsk region

Summary. Authors studied 11 species of hunting animals: squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris), muskrat (Ondatra zibethicus), red fox (Vulpes vulpes), lynx (Lynx lynx), sable (Martes zibellina), American mink (Neovision vison), badger (Meles leucurus), Siberian weasel (Mustela sibirica), stoat (Mustela erminea), flying squirrel (Pteromys volans), brown bear (Ursus arctos) in Tomsk region. The material for the study were 146 carcasses of mammals from the Chainsky, Kozhevnikovsky, Tomsk, Pervomaisky, Zyryansky, Bakcharsky, Kargosoksky districts of the Tomsk region. During the studies 14 species of parasites were found in: foxes - Alaria alata, Taenia crassiceps, Taenia polyacantha, Toxocara canis, Uncinaria stenocephala, E^ino^c^s multilocularis, Crenosoma petrowi; sable - Filaroides martis, Capillaria pitorii, T. martis, T. laticollis; lynx - Toxocara cati, squirrel - Syphacia spp. Trichinella nativa species detected in foxes and mink and Echinococcus multilocularis from foxes are particularly dangerous to humans. The intensity of invasion Trichinella nativa was very high - 1 410 larva per gram in American mink. Sequence analysis of the cox1 marker zone showed 100% similarity to T. nativa sequences.
