Summary. Gastrointestinal diseases are the most common form of the diseases among calves worldwide. The most common cause of diarrhea are pathogenic Escherichia coli, which are the causative agents of colibacillosis. The aim of the work was to study the epizootic situation on colibacteriosis of calves in Krasnodar region. Veterinary data of the time period from 1996 to 2015 were analyzed by the author. Intensive epizootological coefficients to assess the character of colibacillosis epizootic process in Krasnodar region, were calculated by the author with the use of biostatistics used in epizootology. It was found that the incidence of colibacillosis among calves on farms of the region was 433.4 cases per 100 thousand heads, the mortality rate was 122.9 cases per 100 thousand heads, the lethality was 36.9% and focality – 32.3 heads per focus. Epizootic process at colibacteriosis in Krasnodar region by its duration and intensity has strongly marked stationary and enzootic character with the peaks every 1-5 years (avg. 3.5 years). In addition, the epizootic process of colibacteriosis attaches to the winter-spring and summer season, with maximum of outbreaks in February and July. 63.9% of calves get sick in the fi rst week after birth. The conclusion is that the epizootic situation on colibacteriosis of calves in Krasnodar region is rather tense, and vaccination used in the region as the main prophylaxis has no effect on the course of epizootic process that requires a thorough review of control strategies.
