Antiaggregation control of vessels on basic blood formed elements in newborn calves

Summary. Successful haemocirculation essentially determines the overall physiological and biological status of the newborn calves and a lot to do with the peculiarities of the aggregation of blood cells and the degree of control over it by the vascular wall during ontogeny. Authors established the severity of the influence of antiaggregative opportunities of vessels on blood cells in calves during the neonatal phase. Study was performed on 32 calves of black-motley breed, taken in the study at the age of 1-2 days. The survey was conducted during the newborn phase five times at 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10 hours of life with the use of biochemical, hematological and statistical methods. Throughout the newborn calves showed a tendency to increase of red blood cell aggregation activity significantly decreasing in the sample with a temporary venous occlusion. It was established that inhibition of platelet aggregation and a tendency to increase the sensitivity of platelets to disaggregate the influence of the vascular wall within the first 10 days of life that is based on the optimal production of prostacyclin and nitric oxide in the endothelium. Normal neutrophil aggregation, resulting in the observed calves, is also associated with high vascular antiaggregative opportunities, combining with the optimum composition and sensitivity of their glycoprotein.
