Veterinary service of the Republic of Abkhazia on guard of animal and human health

Summary. Epizootic situation on anthrax, foot-and-mouth disease, African swine fever, glanders is discussed in the article. Epizootic process of rabies among domestic and wild animals is described by the authors. In the Republic of Abkhazia African swine fever is still one of the most significant and serious diseases of pigs.
