Immunological aspects of the use of cobametin in the diets of broiler chickens

Summary. The epizootic welfare of poultry farms directly depends on the efficacy of the specific prevention of infectious poultry diseases. At the same time, the intensity of the antibody formation process in response to vaccine administration is important. The number of antibodies generated after immunization depends on the state of the immune system of the bird, which in turn is affected by a number of factors, ranging from the conditions of maintenance to the diet of feeding. This paper examines the effects of a chelate-derived feed supplement on the body of broiler chickens, serum biochemical parameters and the degree of intensity of antibody formation following immunization against Newcastle disease. During the study, a pattern was established, expressed in a higher degree of intensity of postvaccination immunity in a bird receiving a feed supplement. At the same time, the immunization efficiency was 97-100%, and the antibody titer in the serum of experimental chickens exceeded that of the control group by 1.3 and 4.5 times after the first and second revaccination, respectively. The inclusion of a chelate feed additive in the diet of experimental chickens had a positive effect on the biochemical parameters of blood serum, in particular on the amount of hemoglobin and total protein. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the fact that the production is offered a new effective feed additive, the inclusion of which in the diet of broiler chickens contributes not only to an increase in production indicators, but also to an increase in the immune status of the bird.
