DOI 10.33861/2071-8020-2022-2-24-28 Patieva T. P., Koshchaev A. G. Summary. The results of studies of the effect of feed additives «betaine» and «humate» on the histological parameters of the tissues of the small intestine and liver of turkeys and biochemical parameters of blood are presented. Actively participating in metabolism, betaine increases the absorption of energy and nutrients of the diet, reduces feed costs and frees methionine and choline from performing methylation functions, directing them to specific functions, due to which it acts as a natural growth stimulant. The study was conducted in the Krasnodar Territory, where the property of betaine to reduce thermal stress factors affecting productivity and skeletal strength is especially relevant. The biological activity of humic substances is associated with their influence on redox processes, and this effect is explained by the presence of chemical groups (polyphenols, oxychions, quinones) in the composition of humic acids, which act as oxygen carriers, which stabilizes intracellular respiration in a living organism. Also, humic substances are able to act as an enterosorbent of feed mycotoxins and an antagonist of pathogenic flora, stimulate the development of intestinal villi, which improves food digestibility and absorption of nutrients. A certain influence of additives on the studied indicators, their relationship was established, which was reflected in the rate of metabolic processes, the growth and development of poultry, the formation of technological qualities and other economic and biological indicators. Thus, the mass of carcasses, internal organs and slaughter yield of turkeys treated with biologically active additives significantly exceeded the corresponding indicators of turkeys in the control group. Key words: turkey poults, turkeys, feed additive, humate, betaine, histology, morphological parameters of tissues, blood, biochemistry, intestines, liver. References: 1.
