UDC 619:616.9:636.4 Zaikina E.N., Skvortsov V.N., Prisnyy A.A. Summary. The evaluation of the antimicrobial activity of chemotherapeutic drugs should be a limiting mechanism for select and recommendations the drug for the treatment of infectious diseases. The sensitivity of 41 strains of Escherichia coli, isolated from sick birds to antibiotics was determination. The sensitivity was determined by disk diffusion method to the 25 antimicrobial following pharmacological groups: fluoroquinolones (enrofloxacin, ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, norfloxacin), cephalosporins (cephalothin, cefpodoxime, cefpodoxime / clavulanic acid, ceftazidime, ceftazidime / clavulanic acid, cefotaxime, cefotaxime / clavulanic acid, ceftriaxone), aminoglycosides (streptomycin, kanamycin, tobramycin, netellin, amikacin and gentamicin), nitrofurans (nitrofurantoin), tetracyclines (tetracycline) sulfonamide / trimethoprim (co-trimoxazole), monobactams (aztreonam), macrolides (erythromycin) and penicillins (ampicillin). The strains of Escherichia coli (90.2-92.7%) were highly sensitive to enrofloxacin, ciprofloxacin and norfloxacin, for ofloxacin - 87.8%. The intermediate sensitivity to all drugs of fluoroquinolones group was observed in 4.9-9.8% of Escherichia, isolated from sick birds. There were no strains resistant to ciprofloxacin. Among cephalosporins were possessed the greatest activity of the third generation cephalosporins (ceftazidime, cefotaxime, and ceftriaxone), and their combination with clavulanic acid (ceftazidime / clavulanic acid, cefotaxime / clavulanic acid). The greatest level of resistance Escherichia coli (53.7-75.6%) was observed to cefpodoxime and its combination with clavulanic acid. The high sensitivity to streptomycin, kanamycin, gentamicin and tobramycin was revealed in 90.2-92.7% of Escherichia strains. The sensitive to amikacin and netellin were 80.5-82.9% isolates of Escherichia coli. The resistance for nitrofurantoin, chloramphenicol, co-trimoxazole and tetracycline were isolated Escherichia 19.5-43.9%. Most Escherichia coli strains were resistant to erythromycin (87.8%) and ampicillin (61%).
