Efficiency of application of new schemes of pathogenetic therapy in pathologic conditions of ovaries in cows

Summary. Various ovary pathologies such as atrophy and hypoactivity, luteal and follicular cysts, granulosa cell carcinoma, make up a large percentage (5 to 10% and sometimes over 30%) among numerous causes promoting development of infertility in cattle. Lack of sexual and violation of reproductive function are precisely associated with ovarian pathology in about 10% unestrous cows. Causal and pathogenetic therapy: probiotics, prebiotics, electro, procaine blockade, autohaemotherapy, proteotherapy, physiotherapy is used for therapy and prevention of pathologies of the reproductive system.

Purpose of research was to study the efficacy of the new tissue preparation in treatment of atrophy and/or ovarian hypofunction in cows compared with the traditionally used method of therapy. Efficiency of tissue preparation was determined by the number of inseminated productive cows after a course of therapy.

Authors found that the best result of insemination was obtained using tissue preparation in combination with an antioxidant ambiol and novocaine blockade.
