Comparative estimation of blood sampling methods in pigs

Summary. Currently, particular relevance is the study of different methods of blood sampling in pigs at industrial complexes. Authors conducted comparative estimation of different methods of blood sampling from pigs to produce sera suitable for immune monitoring in zones of viral diseases of pigs (foot-and-mouth disease, African swine fever). Authors showed that blood sampling from the orbital venous plexus can be especially useful in mass screening of pigs and in study of hematological and immunological changes in the dynamics.
