Influence of sodium hypochlorite on growth and development of quail

Zholobova I.S., Luneva A.V., Lysenko Yu.A., Yakubenko E.V.

Summary. Authors determined the effect of different concentrations of sodium hypochlorite on the growth, development, clinical condition of the body of the quail, as well as selected the optimal concentration. Japanese quail species (Coturnix japonica) of an egg direction were the objects of study.

Experimental data showed that use of sodium hypochlorite at concentrations of 100 and 200 mg/l promoted weight gain, safety, as well as activation of metabolic processes due to the positive impact on the dynamics of hematological and biochemical parameters of quail blood, with no visible pathological changes in the structure of the liver.

Key words: quails, sodium hypochlorite, live weight, safety, hematological and biochemical parameters of blood, liver.
