Influence of ferric supplement Fermivit-Se on reproductive qualities and blood indices of replacement sows

Summary. Author tested action of the preparation Fermivit-Se on two groups of replacement sows. As a result of the research author has proved that such indices as sows’ fertility, multiple farrow, viability and safety of piglets were higher than in controls.

However, Fermivit-Se has no positive effect on macrocarpa. Use of Fermivit-Se provided increase in milk yield in sows of the experimental group relative to the control by 7,9 kg or 15,3%. Consequently, Fermivit-Se has positive effect on reproductive function, productive characteristics and indices of erythropoiesis of replacement sows.
