Summary. This article highlights studies of the morphological composition of the blood of cats during the treatment of mastitis using amoxicillin LA 15% at the rate of 1 ml per 10 kg of animal weight in combination with the ointment «Kalankhol-vet (D)» developed by us with dry crushed leaves of Kalanchoe externally twice a day. day at a dose of 2 ml per 1 dm2. The dynamics of animal recovery were assessed by daily examination of experimental and control cats, as well as by morphological blood parameters. Blood for the study was taken before and after the study in order to assess the physiological state of the studied animals. As a result of our research, it has been established that the ointment «Kalankhol-vet (D)» developed by us with dry crushed leaves of Kalanchoe has a high degree of effectiveness as part of complex therapy and has a positive effect on the morphological parameters of the blood of sick animals. However, we have also found that in some cats small particles of crushed Kalanchoe leaves can cause a local allergic reaction in the form of spot redness of the skin, slight swelling and itching.
