On regional state veterinary supervision in Krasnodar region

Summary. In order to prevent the occurrence, introduction into the territory of the region and the spread of contagious and other diseases of animals, as well as the release, human consumption and other uses of veterinary-sanitary products and raw materials of animal origin, the Veterinary Department of Krasnodar region carried out regional state veterinary supervision - 12 territorial divisions and the Department of state veterinary control and supervision with the state veterinary inspection were created. In order to minimize the risk of the introduction (importation) of especially dangerous animal diseases into the region, to prevent violations of veterinary legislation during the transportation of goods controlled by the state supervision in 12 municipalities of the Kuban, 15 control posts have been deployed at federal and regional roads, on which police, representatives of the Kuban Cossack army and state veterinary services are on duty around the clock. Particular attention is paid to the monitoring of enterprises and citizens who keep animals on private farms, the suppression of violations of veterinary legislation in the unauthorized sale of animals, products, raw materials of animal origin and other controlled products, monitoring the activities of fairs and weekend fairs. Effective implementation of regional state veterinary supervision, as well as well-coordinated actions of the state and production veterinary services contribute to the preservation of the epizootic well-being of Krasnodar region and form the responsible attitude among business entities on the issue of the movement of goods controlled by the state surveillance.
