Internal architectonics of right ventral vagal trunk in heart basis area in poultry of the order Anseriformes

Avdeev D.B.

Summary

Detailed study of histology of right ventral vagal trunk in the heart basis area in poultry of order Anseriformes is presented in the article. Hematoxylin and eosin staining, Weigert resorcin-fuchsine staining and Nissle staining revealed that vagus nerve in geese of "Gorky" breed, along with general morphological patterns is expressed in varying degrees of specific peculiarities. During complex histological study author noted that internal vagal vascularization is only via perineurium. It is traced only in areas of branching, where perineurium is thickened and loosened.

Key words: goose, vagus, nerves, right ventral trunk, perineurium, heart basis area, histological studies.
