Summary. Urolithiasis in cats is a widespread polyetiological disease of cats, manifested by urolithiasis (the formation of stones of various compositions in the upper and lower parts of the urinary system), characterized by frequent relapses, and in the absence of timely qualified treatment leads to death. In modern veterinary practice, feline urolithiasis accounts for 15 to 23% of all diseases of the lower urinary tract. The reasons for the development of this disease may be: genetic predisposition of certain breeds, metabolic disorders, urinary system infections, idiopathic cystitis. In the article, the authors present practical material obtained as a result of a retrospective study of 234 clinical cases of conservative treatment of urolithiasis in cats in a veterinary clinic. During the research, the authors studied the therapeutic effectiveness of the use of the Spazmamiral antispasmodic preparation in the complex treatment of urolithiasis in the lower parts of the urinary system of cats. A comparative analysis of data from clinical signs of the disease and the results of laboratory urine tests showed a positive effect of using an antispasmodic, expressed in a reduction in treatment time by an average of three days compared to the traditional treatment regimen.
