Summary: In modern conditions of global warming on the planet, there is a dynamic increase in the average ambient temperature, which affects all spheres of human activity and has a significant negative impact on the livestock industry. Heat stress becomes a powerful factor that negatively affects the health of animals, especially for highly productive dairy cattle. The article reflects the results of studying the effectiveness of the use of flavobetin in heat stress in dairy cows. Flavobetin contains betaine hydrochloride - 50%; taurine - 30%; grass of the common turnip (Agrimonia eupatoria) - 20%. The experiments were carried out in the livestock sector of the Krasnodar Krai. The calculation of the temperature-humidity index indicator confirmed that throughout July cattle experienced moderate heat stress -the value of THI ranged from 74.3 to 77.7. The livestock from the building 1 was the control group, from the building 2 was the experimental one. During July, flavobetin was applied to dairy cows of the experimental corps at a dose of 50 grams per head. The conducted studies have shown the high efficiency of the use of flavobetin under thermal stress in dairy cattle in industrial conditions. The pharmacological effect of the drug is manifested by an increase in the safety and milk productivity of cows, an increase in the quality and safety of milk. The reported study was funded by RFBR according to the research project № 20-316-90009.
