Abstract. It is known that the different composition of the anesthetic protocol affects the vital functions of the mother and the viability of the newbThe article presents a retrospective analysis of the literature and the results of our own research on the distribution and etiology of urocystitis in cats in the Rostov region, as well as the clinical and morphological features of the diagnosis of this disease. Monitoring of urogenital diseases in cats of the region was conducted and their structure was established. Differential diagnostics of various forms of urocystitis was performed using clinical, morphological, special and laboratory methods. The study covered both urban and rural cat populations, taking into account different age groups, gender and castration status. The main objective of the work was a detailed study of the above aspects to improve the diagnostics of urocystitis in the Rostov region. The research results will help to better understand this pathology and develop effective methods for its diagnosis, treatment and prevention. The data obtained may also be useful for practicing veterinary specialists and pet owners.
