Abstract. The article presents the results of industrial tests of the bactericidal activity and disinfection efficiency of solutions of the Russian-made AlmaVet agent, for the purpose of disinfecting surfaces of room for keeping of fattening bulls and premises of sanitary slaughterhouse for animals. Solutions of the AlmaVet disinfectant in both rooms showed disinfection activity on smooth and rough surfaces against grampositive and gram-negative microorganisms. When monitoring of the quality of disinfection in room for fattening bulls on the isolation of E. coli, disinfection of smooth surfaces (stainless steel, ceramic tiles) was achieved by a 0.7% solution of the agent, with an exposure 1 hour and a consumption rate 0.25-0.3 l/m2; rough (concrete, wood) were disinfected by 1.5% solution in 3 hours and by 2.0% solution in 1 hour of exposure at a consumption rate of 0.5 l/m2. When monitoring for the isolation of staphylococcus, disinfection of smooth surfaces was achieved by 0.7% solution in 3 hours and by 1.0% solution in 1 hour of exposure, by consumption rate of 0.25-0.3 l/m2; rough were disinfected by 1.5% solution in 3 hours and by 2.0% solution in 1 hour of exposure, in consumption rate 0.5 l/m2. In the premises for sanitary slaughterhouse of animals it was established, that solutions of the preparation AlmaVet disinfect smooth surfaces by 0.7% solution in 3 hours, or 1.0% in 1 hour of exposure, in rate 0.25-0.3 l/m2; rough by 1.5% in 3 hours or 2.0% in 1 hour of exposure, rate 0.5 l/m2.
