Abstract. This publication presents the results of studies on the spread and diagnostics of a parasitic disease of sheep, such as fascioliasis, in conditions of farms of different types of ownership in the territory of 7 districts of the Vladimir region. During the research, the biomaterial was prepared using the method of successive washes as modified by Akbaev M.Sh. As a result of the study of the biomaterial from 176 animals, fascioliasis was diagnosed in 54 animals, the causative agent of which is the trematode Fasciola hepatica. Thus, the extensiveness of the invasion was 30.7%. During the autopsy of four sheep and the study of the bile ducts of the liver, fasciola maritas were found. The publication is illustrated with original photographs.
