Summary. Synchronization of the arousal stage in cows can be achieved by various methods, such as progestogens, combinations of pro-progestogens and prostaglandin F2a, prostaglandin F2a alone and combinations of gonadotropin-releasing hormone and prostaglandin F2a. Each method has its advantages and disadvantages, and the decision on the most appropriate protocol for synchronizing sexual hunting must take into account a complex of factors such as herd productivity, the number of heifers and problem cows. Monitoring of the main indicators of reproduction of a breeding herd of cattle in the conditions of the Lednevo Ltd. confirms that keeping livestock on a leash with the absence of regular exercise adversely affects reproductive functions. As the result of experimental work, acceptable pregnancy rates were obtained when using Galapan and Busol in the Ovsinh scheme by the time of diagnosis using ultrasound examination. The use of preparations Galapan and Busol in ovulation synchronization made it possible to increase the percentage of cows suitable for artificial insemination and shorten the service period.
