Summary. One of the key tasks in the development of livestock farming is to ensure well-being in the fight against infectious diseases and parasitic infestations. Bovine leukosis is a serious infectious disease that causes significant economic loss to farms. This damage is associated with the need to slaughter productive livestock, dispose of corpses, huge costs for the restoration of affected farms, as well as the costs of purchasing and maintaining sperm from breeding bulls with confirmed leukemia.
