Summary. Data on the age-related dynamics of the basic hematological and metabolic parameters of Cherry-Veli ducks are presented in the article. The number of erythrocytes, hematocrit value, hemoglobin concentration in whole blood, as well as the content of total protein, glucose, total lipids, triglycerides, total cholesterol, total calcium, inorganic phosphorus were determined in the blood of ducks of both sexes at.: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48 weeks age. In each age group 45-50 ducks were examined. There are pronounced fluctuations in a number of indicators, depending on age and gender. The author studied age-related dynamics of indicators of protein, carbohydrate-lipid, and mineral metabolism: with age, the content of total protein, total lipids, triglycerides, and total calcium increases. There was also an increase in protein, lipid and mineral metabolism in the blood serum of females in the pre-laying period, and at the beginning of the productive period due to the mobilization of the body for the formation of egg components. Sexual dimorphism is expressed in the content of total protein, total lipids, triglycerides, and total calcium. Fluctuations in the main hematological parameters in terms of gender and age are insignificant.
Keywords: ducklings, ducks, age dynamics, sexual dimorphism, hematology, protein metabolism, carbohydrate-lipid metabolism.
