Summary. Great importance is given to the study of various feeding for bees in beekeeping. With a lack of honey in the nests of bee colonies, it is customary to feed bees as a substitute for honeydew or rapidly crystallizing honey, as well as honey containing chemicals in beekeeping. The results of the analysis of moisture and acidity carried out by the authors in different compositions of dough-like top dressing of candy for bees, which is fed to bee colonies in the winter with a lack of food supplies are presented in the article. The resulting composition with a mass moisture content of 16% and an acidity of 3.5 pH units proves the quality of the feed, which is available for consumption by bees, does not spread inside the hive and does not turn into a solid consistency, which is important for bee colonies during their winter dormancy. In the remaining formulations, the mass fraction of moisture was lower and averaged 10-11.5%, which led the dough-like mass to dry out, especially the composition intended for the control group of bee colonies. The indices of acidity and humidity in all the compositions of top dressing were acceptable for bees, since the acidity of sunflower honey, which is also food for them, is 3.0-4.0 pH units, and the mass fraction of moisture is no more than 18.0%. Studies have found that the combined content of liquid feed concentrate and apple cider vinegar in the top dressing retains moisture in it. We have obtained an innovative composition of candi, which is suitable for winter feeding of bees.
