Summary. Experiment was conducted at the hog-raising farm «Khatasskaya», Yakutsk (Russia), during the winter 2018 on weanling pigs of large white breed. As a food supplement, we used the flour of three-component herbal repertory containing the thalluses of Cladonia lichens, vegetative parts of Artemisia absinthium L., and roots and vegetative parts of Amaranthus retroflexus L. The control and experimental groups consisted of 9 heads of 40-day weaners in each. Conditions of feeding and handling of weaners in groups were the same. The herbal repertory was added to the basic feed in the amount of 10.0 g/day per pig for 30 days from the time of weaning. We determined the total content of flavonoids in the repertory, and identified the rutin flavonoid. Inclusion of dietary supplements contributed to an increase of platelet level by 33.0%, reduced inflammation processes, 1.2-times increase in the amount of alkaline phosphatase in blood plasma of the experimental group of weaners and did not lead to a decrease in immunity against the background of anemia and technological stress. The use of the herbal repertory containing a complex of biologically active substances contributed to a 15.5% reduction in oxidative stress (estimated by malonic dialdehyde level) in red blood cells, which was probably due to an increase of 23.1% of the low molecular antioxidant pool in cells with regard to the control group. Authors studied the effect of the three-component (Cladonia lichens, Artemisia absinthium and Amaranthus retroflexus) herbal repertory on hematological and biochemical parameters of weaners' the blood.
Key words: herbal repretory, Cladonia lichens, Artemisia absinthium L., Amaranthus retroflexus L., rutin, chlorophyll a and b, weanling pigs, hematological and biochemical parameters of blood, oxidative stress, malonic dialdehyde
