Specific feature of gastrointestinal microbiocenosis formation and efficiency of metabolic processes in quail using probiotic feed additives

Petenko A. I. ,Lysenko Yu. A.

Summary

Use of probiotic complex "Probiolakt" and new probiotic feed additive at a dose of 0.2 % per unit of feed from twenty four hour age during the entire period of Japanese quail growth to 42 days of age stimulates growth rate, enhances the safety by 2.2–4.3 %, increases body weight by 5.4–6 %, reduces feed consumption by 2.9–5.0 %. Probiotics optimize hematologic characteristics improving natural resistance of quail. The level of bifidobacteria in 1 g of chymus in experimental groups of birds is 6.6–26.6 times higher than in control group.

Key words: poultry faming, probiotics, probiolact, hematology, safety, body weight, resistance, bifidobacterià, lactobacterià.
