Abstract. The Russian Federation faces a challenging situation regarding the diagnosis of immunosuppressive diseases such as turkey hemorrhagic enteritis. Currently, there is only one registered ELISA kit available in Russia for this purpose, highlighting the need to develop new diagnostic methods and kits for turkey hemorrhagic enteritis. This article describes the development of a diagnostic kit for turkey hemorrhagic enteritis based on the gel diffusion precipitation test. All components of the kit were produced at the Poultry Disease Control Center of the Department of Epizootology named after V.P. Urban. A medium for the gel diffusion precipitation test was prepared, wells were set up, and kit components were added. The kit was then used to test blood and spleen sera samples obtained from poultry farms, with negative controls included. All reaction components interacted as expected, yielding the anticipated results.
Keywords: turkey hemorrhagic enteritis, gel diffusion precipitation test, diagnostic method for immunosuppressive diseases.
