Summary. Modern forms of mass housing of animals (concentration of livestock. transfer of animals to year-round housing. reduction or abandonment of grazing and active exercise) limit many of their natural life habits and needs. In disease prevention. it is important not only to protect animals from unfavorable external factors. but also to increase the physiological reactivity of the body. The purpose of this work was to study the influence of blood plasma on indicators of natural resistance. morbidity and safety of young cattle. For this purpose. 2 groups of calves were selected (experimental - 105 and control - 55). At the beginning of the experiment and 14-15 days after the administration of blood plasma. blood was taken from them for morphological. biochemical and immunological studies. It was found that after the administration of blood plasma in calves. compared with the initial data. the amount of total protein. gamma globulins. lymphocytes significantly increased and the content of albumins. band and segmented neutrophils decreased by 4.4. respectively; 14.5. 21.4. 5.3. 32.6. 17.9%. The level of bactericidal activity of blood serum increased by 18.8% (P >0.999). We determined the share of the influence of plasma on the blood parameters of calves. incl. hemoglobin. albumin and Y-globulins. It was 16.0. 28.0. 34.1% (P>0.95). respectively. Thus. after the introduction of blood plasma in the experimental group of calves. the mortality rate was 1.9 times lower compared to the control group. The data obtained must be taken into account when carrying out preventive measures in livestock farms in the

region to prevent the occurrence of gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases.
