Summary. Preparations of natural origin: probiotics, chitosan, herbal remedies, humic substances are widely used for correction of immunobiochemical status of animals and implementation of maximum productivity. Purpose of the research was to study the influence of the feed additive based on potassium salts of humic acids Lignohumate-CD-A on the functional state of sows and piglets in conditions of the pig farm "Orenburg bacon" on four groups of pregnant sows. Sows of the first experimental group for 2 months before the farrowing were fed with Lignohumate-CD-A 10 mg/kg of weight for 10 days with a 10-day break. Animals of the second and the third experimental groups were fed with a preparation according to a similar scheme in doses 20 and 30 mg/kg, respectively. Blood samples for laboratory researches were selected from sows for two and one month before farrowing, the first day of lactation, weaning day. Piglets’ blood samples were taken on the day of weaning. Decrease of cholesterol amounts in blood serum was observed in sows under the influence of lignohumate-CD-A. Lignohumate-CD-A in the diet of sows did not affect the content in the blood lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and creatinine. Main biochemical indices throughout the experiment in sows and weaned piglets were within the control level. Results indicate a positive impact of lignohumate-CD-A on the organism of pigs.

Keywords: sows, suckling piglets, farrowing, ration, metabolism, correction, serum, Lignohumate-CD-A, biochemical indices, enzymes.
