Summary. One of the most important tasks of the domestic industry is the active import substitution of drugs used for disinfection in veterinary medicine and agriculture. The development and introduction into production of Russian disinfectants and other preparations for veterinary sanitation is the most demanded direction. Authors studied 44 the corrosive activity of highly effective preparations for disinfection at the objects of veterinary supervision ‘Tektumdez’ and ‘Teora-dez’ in relation to the base metals used in the production process. According to the results of the study, the preparations ‘Tektumdez’ and ‘Teora-dez’ have almost zero corrosion activity in relation to the main test objects used: steel (08X18H10T), aluminum (grade A) and galvanized iron (GOST 14918-80). So, in the study of ‘Tektumdez’ it was found that the drug is practically inert in relation to test objects made of steel, aluminum and galvanized iron. Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) was used as a reference and the results were compared with the tested disinfectants. The weight loss of the preparation ‘Tektumdez’ for steel (08Kh18N10T) was 0.00322±0.0012%, which is 16.2 times weaker than the impact of the standard on the test object, similar results with aluminum (A) 0.12±0.0042, which is 12.66 times weaker and for galvanized iron (GOST 14918-80) 0.00495±0.0009 - 17.6 times weaker than the effect of the standard. Similar results were obtained when studying the corrosion properties of the ‘Teoradez’ preparation, the weight loss of the metal sample was 0.00235% with respect to steel grade 08X18H10T, 0.12% with respect to aluminum and 0.006% with respect to galvanized iron.
