Summary. The studies were carried out in the conditions of specialized pig-breeding complex. For the experiment 62 deep-gestated sows on 109 to 111 of gestation with no abnormalities in the clinical condition and divided into three groups were chosen. Sows of the first group (n=19) were not prescribed drugs, and they were served as control ones. Animals of the second group (n=20) in the last three days before farrowing and for three days on the 8-10th day of lactation daily with an interval of 24 hours intravaginaly the probiotic preparation Hyprolam was introduced in a dose of 50 ml per animal (first experimental group). The pigs of the third group (n=23) in the last three days before farrowing were vaginally treated by probiotic preparation Hyprolam in a dose of 50 ml per animal in combination with the threetime intramuscular injection of the a- and Y-interferons, recombinant swine in the same period in the dose of 10 ml for each animal (second experimental group). At the beginning of the experiment (before the use of drugs), 3-4 days after the farrowing and the day of weaning, five sows from each group received samples of vaginal washes, in which quantitative and qualitative indicators of microbiota were determined by generally accepted methods in bacteriology. It was found that intravaginal administration to sows of the probiotic preparation Hyprolam, both separately and in combination with the parenteral use of alpha- and gamma-interferon reduces the pressure of conditionally pathogenic microflora, contributes to the stabilization of the normal flora of the genital tract, reducing abnormal delivery sows, the stillbirth rate of piglets, the incidence of a uterine livestock acute and chronic inflammatory processes, reduction of terms of sexual cyclicity after weaning and increase the impregnation capacity. The most pronounced effect was obtained when Hyprolam in combination with a- and Y-interferons was prescribed.
Keywords: sows, piglets, prevention, giprolam, alpha and gamma interferons, vaginal swabs, endometritis, microbiota.
