Epizootological features, specific prophylaxis and treatment of colibacteriosis of rabbits

Summary

Rabbit breeding is an important branch of fur farming delivering valuable dietary meat and raw materials for fur products. Rabbits are an additional source of meat which concerns dietary foodstuff. In rabbits, good skin and fur are in steady demand in industry and among the population. Besides it, rabbits are used as laboratory model for studies of various problems of physiology, immunobiology of human and veterinary medicine, as producers in the manufacture and control of biological products. Data on studying of clinical signs, pathological, morphological and histologic changes are presented at colibacteriosis at rabbits in the article. Under production conditions GOAformolvaccine was harmless and possessed high immunological properties, providing after a double inoculation protection of all vaccinated rabbits from colibacteriosis. High efficiency of peflocsacin is established at treatment colibacterios is of rabbits.
