Summary. International veterinary organizations note that transboundary diseases have a significant impact on the epizootic and epidemiological well-being of territories due to the fact that they are largely due to natural foci. The problems of quarantine zooanthroponoses are solved by introducing elements of epizootological and epidemiological monitoring and surveillance of diseases common to humans and animals. The article presents statistical data on the epizootic situation on transboundary infectious animal diseases in the world and countries adjacent to the Russian Federation in 2021. According to the OIE, outbreaks of African swine fever were registered in 26 countries in 2021, foot-and-mouth disease - in 20 countries, highly pathogenic avian influenza - in 20 countries, nodular infectious bovine dermatitis - in 24 countries, bluetongue - in 19 countries, sheep and goat pox -in 4 countries, plague of small ruminants - in 12 countries, neurodegenerative prion disease - in 4 countries. The epizootic situation of the territory of Krasnodar region for quarantine infectious animal diseases for the period from 2009 to 2021 was studied. The authors carried out monitoring and analysis of the epizootic wellbeing of the region for infectious diseases in 2021, and also presented a brief forecast of the incidence. Over the past 12 years of observation, from 2009 to 2021, 801 unfavorable points of quarantine diseases of animals and birds have been registered in Krasnodar region. An increased risk of infectious diseases in the region exists in March-April-May, June and August, since it was during these months of the year that the largest number of cases of infection quarantines were recorded, including avian influenza and African swine fever. Forecast of the epizootic situation in the region for the current year on rabies in wild carnivorous and small domestic animals, brucellosis in cattle and small cattle, animal leptospirosis, African swine fever, avian influenza is cautious.
