Effect of unfavorable environmental factors on biochemical indices of piglets’ blood

Kovalenko A.V., Kovalenko N.A.

Summary

It has been determined that T-2 toxin and T-2 toxin in combination with ochratoxin A1 in concentration below maximum permissible level cause decreasing level of protein and protein fractions, calcium and inorganic phosphorus in blood serum, increasing enzymes activity, glucose concentration, urea and bilirubin in piglets’ blood. Combined introduction of T-2 toxin and ochratoxin A1 influences on experimental animal body and causes more marked changes of biochemical indices of blood serum.

Key words: fungus, mycotoxicological monitoring, mycotoxins, piglets, biochemical indices, enzymes.
